Salvia Divinorum Seeds

Salvia Divinorum CuttingsSalvia Divinorum seeds are very hard to come by as you’ve probably realised if you’re looking to acquire some.  The reason why is revealed in it’s history and the natural reproduction of the plant.  Salvia Divinorum is a plant of the genus Salvia and is originally from Oaxaca in Mexico where it is used by shamans to achieve higher states of visual consciousness in spiritual healing ceremonies.  It’s sometimes referred to as Diviner’s or Seer’s Sage or colloquially as Sally D amongst other slang terms.

It grows wild in the high mountain cloud forests of the Sierra Mazateca where moist and shady conditions are perfect.  The plant has large leaves, can grow to around one metre in height and has unusual hollow square stems which are rarely seen on plants.  It’s flowers are white in colour with hints of purple.  One of the strange things about this plant is the way it reproduces as although it has been seen on occasion to produce seeds in cultivated varieties it has never been observed to seed naturally in the wild.  In fact it’s primary way to reproduce happens when a stem breaks off and falls to the ground which then sprouts roots itself.  This may be why the plant has evolved square stems as they are structurally weaker than normal round stems and so breakages are more easily achieved.

So you can understand now why Salvia Divinorum seeds are virtually unheard of and finding them for sale online is almost impossible.  The only real way of acquiring one is by taking a cutting from another plant.  And this is where we can help!  From this site you can buy Salvia Divinorum cuttings and have them posted to you via Royal Mail.  The cuttings are ready rooted in rock wool and packaged in a small 15cm x 4cm cardboard box for delivery.

Salvia Divinorum is considered to be of very low toxicity and also low addictiveness which is probably why it’s still legal in most countries of the world.  But with recent negative headlines of teenagers tripping their nuts off on Youtube it has gained the attention of the authorities and could be outlawed in the near future, so get it while you can! ;-)
